Before You Begin Your LED Project

Please take the following precautions:

  1. Before commencing any installation or maintenance work, disconnect power at the breaker box and ensure that it cannot be re-connected inadvertently.

  2. This equipment, like all electrical equipment, should be installed by a qualified person.

  3. Do not expose these LEDs, dimmers or power supplies to intense electromagnetic fields, including lightning.

  4. The controllers and wire harnesses are not waterproof. They must be installed in a dry

location, or protected by an appropriate IP-rated electrical enclosure if installed in a high- moisture area (e.g., near an exterior door or in an unfinished basement).

  1. Always observe proper polarity.

LED systems are important parts of a FLIGHT Staircase. Be sure to handle with care when installing and always follow directions by turning off power at the corresponding step.

Power Supplies

Viewrail offers three different power supply options based on your FLIGHT System size. The more LED strips your staircase has, the more energy that is required.

Wireless Receivers

The Wireless receiver is an important component as it handles the connectivity to your device.

If a FLIGHT System contains more than 12 treads two wireless recievers will be required.

LED Wiring Accessories

The Stringer harness is used for connecting the LED strips with the power supply. These are hidden in different places depending on the Staircase Design

LED Strips are preinstalled into each tread and are connected to the stringer harness for supplying power.

LED Control Software

Use the app "CleanLife Smart" to control your LED Lighting.
