Metal handrails

Beverage

Use: Interior or exterior
Profile: 1" × 4"
Materials: Aluminum, 304 stainless steel, or 2205 stainless steel
Best for: A wide top rail with a clean metal look

This profile fits Signature and Express post lines. The 304 and 2205 stainless options are rated for coastal locations.

1″ × 2″ Steel

Use: Interior or exterior
Profile: 1" × 2"
Materials: Aluminum, 304 stainless steel, or 2205 stainless steel
Best for: A slim metal top rail on Signature or Express posts

This profile ships with both ends open. Add an end plug or cover for a finished look. The 304 and 2205 stainless options are rated for coastal locations.

2″ Round Steel

Use: Interior or exterior, non-coastal
Profile: 1.5" or 2" round
Material: 316 stainless steel
Best for: A softer profile on modern metal railing

This round handrail is available in brushed stainless or powder coat. You can order finished ends, connect long sections, or finish ends on site.

Wood handrails

6084 Handrail

Use: Interior
Graspability: Graspable
Species: All wood species except Ipe and Endurance
Best for: Projects that need a code-focused graspable profile

The 6084 has a wide top and an inward finger recess. It pairs well with metal railing posts and keeps a clean, angular look.

5600 Series

Use: Interior
Profile: Shaped
Construction: Two solid hardwood pieces, face-glued together
Best for: A warmer, more traditional grip shape

The 5600 has a flat bottom and gently rounded top. It feels substantial in hand without looking bulky. It works well with balusters, cable, rod, and wall-mounted layouts.

6000 Series

Use: Interior only
Graspability: Not graspable
Species: All wood species except Ipe and Endurance
Size: 2-3/4" wide × 1-5/8" tall

The 6000 Mission Handrail is a timeless rectangular profile. It works with modern railing systems, wrought iron balusters, and square-top wood balusters.

6002 Series

Use: Interior
Construction: Solid wood, no glue joints
Size: 2-3/4" wide × 1-5/8" tall
Best for: Projects that want the 6000 shape in one solid piece

The 6002 Solid Handrail keeps the same clean rectangular look as the 6000. It is milled from premium 2" lumber for added structural consistency.

6004 Graspable

Use: Interior
Graspability: Graspable
Species: All wood species except Ipe and Endurance
Size: 2-1/2" × 2 7/16"

The 6004 is built for code compliance and a bold modern look. Two finger slots create a secure grip, which makes this a strong fit for commercial projects and any stair that needs a dedicated graspable profile.

It works with cable, rod, and glass systems using Universal Top or Flat Top mounting. It can also be wall-mounted with standard handrail brackets.

6005 Series

Use: Exterior or Interior
Species: All wood species except Ipe
Profile: Beverage rail
Width: 4"
Best for: A flat top that can hold a drink or support an elbow

The 6005 is a wide, multi-use handrail that adds function as well as finish. It is a strong fit for entertaining spaces and interior railing where a broader top feels intentional.

6200 Series

Use: Exterior or Interior
Species: All wood species
Profile: Slim rectangular
Best for: Modern interior cable, rod, or glass railing

The 6200 keeps a simple profile that works across contemporary, mission, and shaker spaces. It is one of the cleanest ways to keep the top rail minimal.

6001 Ipe Series

Use: Exterior or interior
Wood: Ipe
Size: 1.5" × 3.5"
Lengths: 3' to 15'

The 6001 Ipe profile uses a simple rectangular shape that works well with cable and rod railing. Ipe handles weather well, but an exterior-rated sealant is still recommended for the best long-term performance.

6007 Series

Use: Interior, with exterior Endurance option
Profile: Beverage rail
Construction: Solid, no glue joints
Best for: A broad top rail with a more structural wood build

The 6007 is the solid-construction version of the 6005 Beverage profile. It has a wide, flat top that feels substantial and works well with cable, rod, and glass systems.

The Endurance Series 6007 is thermally modified for exterior use. It resists moisture, rot, mildew, and weather without added chemicals. It is available in hard maple and white oak, in lengths up to 10'. An exterior-rated stain or sealant is recommended.
